LISTEN: the EPIC MACHINE

Another RANDOM night in PARIS, I was yet UP & ALONE flicking through channels with my HORRIBLE EYE SIGHT I ran across a group of people dancing with FACES full of MAKE UP, when I tell you they had MAKE UP they were wearing there ENTIRE KIT on there face it caught my ATTENTION. I soon turned up the volume & fell in LOVE with not only there DRAMATIC APPEARANCE'S but there SONG, but because it was so LATE I didn't catch the name. Finally I arrived back to the UNITED STATES & again I bumped into it, I was SHOCKED because I didn't realize she was SINGING in ENGLISH!!! You can't help but PAY ATTENTION to the VIDEO & SONG "Dog Days Are Over" by FLORENCE + THE MACHINE.
FLORENCE + THE MACHINE is the name of the new pop singer FLORENCE WELCH which performs with a group of other artists(which are ROBERT ACKROYD, CHRISTOPHER LLOYD HAYDEN, ISABELLA SUMMERS & TOM MONGER) who collaborate & produce the BACK UP music for her BEAUTIFUL VOICE. The bands FIRST album was called "LUNGS" which was released JULY 6, 2009, & held the #2 spot for the first FIVE WEEKS in the UNITED KINGDOM album chart. This NEW GROUP providing FRESH NEW INDIE ROCK, SOUL type music has been INTERNATIONALLY MAGNIFICENT!!!

"One good thing about MUSIC, when it hits YOU, you feel NO PAIN" thats one thing you experience during New York City's NIGHT LIFE. Being in the BIG NYC you'll realize that we are TRULY the CITY that NEVER SLEEPS. One NIGHT I & my two friends RONAN & SUNNI was in search of a place to go to that was FREE! Finally the "GENIUS" of the group SUNNI thought of a place on the LOWER EAST SIDE called the "GALLERY BAR". Walking into the GALLERY BAR we had no clue what to EXPECT. Walking down the CANDLE LIT stairs HEART dancing to the MUSIC we've bumped into a lot AWESOME people. As you walk thru the CROWD you see the most RANDOM people from the TRENDY COOL KIDS to the SUIT & TIE circle all just having a WONDERFUL time. The MIXING of the MUSIC was UNEXPECTED but IMPRESSIVE from PETER BJORN to CHAKA DEMUS. The GALLERY BAR is located on 120 ORCHARD STREET and can be visited at www.GALLERYBARNYC.com

SCENT: INHALE CREED

During the last days of the SUMMER I was out & about looking for a NEW SCENT to buy a FRIEND for his BIRTHDAY. I'm bad when it comes to SCENT because i'm ok with my DOVE SOAP & DEODORANT, so I had to ask a friend. My friend RONAN then took me to BERGDORF & GOODMAN to show me the MEN'S FRAGRANCE called "CREED:CITRUS BIGARRADE". Finally we arrived downstairs & found the FRAGRANCE, the SCENT was very SOFT & EARLY. I LOVED the scent for MYSELF because it wasn't too STRONG & HARSH it was just right it reminded of SPRING which is one of my FAVORITE SEASONS. Although I will willing to PURCHASE CREED it was UNFORTUNATELY too LUXURIOUS for my RECESSION pockets. TASTE: TASTY THAI

I'm ALWAYS in the city HUNGRY ready to MUNCH! One of my favorite places to go to during the AFTERNOON or EVENING is CAFETASIA located on 38 East 8th Street New York, 10003. While walking pass it, the restaurant AUTOMATICALLY reaches for your ATTENTION with its GLASS front viewing the DIMMED ROMANTIC decor. CAFETASIA's staff's has one of the most warmest people with SMILING PERSONALITIES making you feel welcome & comfortable to be there. One of the BEST but BUSIEST times to go is before 7PM where they offer you a HAPPY HOUR MENU(no shade but a DISCOUNTED DRINK makes EVERYONE HAPPY :-)). At CAFETASIA one of my FAVORITE drinks is the STRAWBERRY MOJITO its so REFRESHING. When asked for an APPETIZER I often get the CHICKEN & SHRIMP SHUMAI which is bits of chicken & shrimp wrapped up in a fried dumpling *licks fingers* AMAZING! FINALLY when it comes to the meal my STOMACH starts to get CONFUSED there so many WONDERFUL choices, my ULTIMATE FAVORITE has to be the PAD THAI NOODLES im so ADDICTED to them one week I've had it 3x I was going CRAZY for THAI!!! CAFETASIA meal is a wonderful place for a small or large dinner, a birthday, quick lunch even if its just for a DRINK all for great PRICES you wouldn't be DISAPPOINTED!

TOUCH: Wow this FEELS AMAZING!

HAIR! HAIR!! HAIR!!! Hair can look BEAUTIFUL & AMAZING but sometimes it can get you on your LAST NERVES. My HAIR has been thru it all, all EXCEPT at RELAXER(PERM) LOL even thou GOD knows I needed it on certain days LOL. A few MONTHS ago after BLEACHING my HAIR PLATINUM BLONDE my TOUCHY friend RONAN DOS SANTOS decided to TOUCH my HAIR. Trying to remove myself from that situation he caught a feel on the BLONDE patch in the front of my head. He then OUTBURST "Ooh BABY, you need to CONDITION that patch or it will fall out". I then laughed at mentioned the tons of products i've been using to prevent my HAIR from damaging. The NEXT DAY he handed me this bottle, knowing him I didn't know what to EXPECT. He told me it was this AMAZING product he uses on his HAIR called MOROCCAN OIL(www.MOROCCANOIL.com). I told him i'll use it. Few days after I washed my HAIR then put some of the MOCCOCAN OIL in my HAIR it felt so REFRESHING. Although the BLONDE part of my HAIR felt rough it felt SMOOTHER with this product. L!STEN: STROMAE!!!

FUNKY! JAZZY! FRESH! Thats what this FRENCH speaking new artist brings my EARS with his AMAZING SINGLE "ALORS ON DANSE". STROMAE caught me by surprised one day around 3am in the morning during my 2nd trip in PARIS, FRANCE browsing thru the LIMITED amounts of CHANNELS the HOTEL offered with the VOLUME close to MUTE, I heard a FRESH FUNKY BEAT it was giving me LIFE!!! I started to TURN it up & fell in LOVE I was dying to hear it again. A few mornings after I was walking thru LE CHATELET to get a BITE to EAT & all of a sudden I heard the FUNKY BEAT once again & found out it was this NEW ARTIST & SONGWRITER called STROMAE. His look is very CORKY & thats what caught my attention because this song came UNEXPECTED while watching the VIDEO.

STROMAE also known as Paul Van Haver was born in Belgium on March 12, 1985. He has made his mark producing both hip hop and electronic music. He's currently signed to Vertigo Records of Mercury Records France (Universal Music Group France). His FUN & RANDOM music video can be found below...ENJOY!

SCENT: Do you SABON?

Again running LATE to meet a friend I was getting so FRUSTRATED because he kept changing his LOCATION he finally told me to walk up 6TH Ave to "SABON" I asked what is that he then HANGED UP...I finally reached SABON NYC which is located 6th ave between 9th & 10th st. As I was passing the patted me on my NOSE telling me to come in. I was then GREETED by the AMAZING STAFF. They were EXTREMELY WELCOMING they made me feel so COMFORTABLE. They asked if I wanted to try some of there SAMPLES and to be HONEST I wasn't in the MOOD too I was HUNGRY that NIGHT. I FINALLY agreed & I explained to the young lady I HATE when people TOUCH my HANDS because there so ROUGH. She then told me "I have something to take care of that". I agreed to follow with the PROCEDURE. She then put a DIME amount of TROPIC SCENTED BODY SCRUB in my HANDS it started to TICKLE it was a CUTE moment I was smiling. After RINSING off the SCRUB she then placed again a DIME amount of BUTTER CREAM.
Let me REMIND YOU everyone complains about my ROUGH CONSTRUCTION hands after this whole PROCESS I felt like a NEW BORN I didn't want ANYONE touching my HANDS I didn't even want to EAT anymore I was so INFATUATED with my hands. *SMILES*
